Great and Small

One of my favorite things about science is always this sense it gives me of being part of something greater, the way that it sort of takes my life and zooms it in and out, putting things into a whole new focus for me. Sometimes I forget that there are tons of amazing things out there, that the sorrows and worries of today will be gone tomorrow, that I'm just one tiny speck of stardust in the midst of this great and glimmering whole. So, here's to the little details everywhere that remind us of what's important, to the macro and to the micro, to the great and to the small.
